A Métis Elder recounts the traumatic events he experienced as a patient at the Charles Camsell Indian Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta. Taken from his community to receive treatment for tuberculosis at seven years old, he remained incarcerated in the hospital for two and a half years — enduring isolation, child abuse and torture.
